OK Help Hotlines

The Holdenville Public School District's Guidance Counseling Office provides students the resources, tools, and guidance necessary to chart a path toward their career goals. This information includes scholarship information, SAT and ACT testing information and so much more. Our intent is to support Holdenville High School students as they assume responsibility for their success in school and beyond.

NOTICE: ACT has rescheduled the April 4, 2020 national ACT test date to June 13, 2020 in response to concerns regarding the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

ACT will communicate directly with all students currently registered for the April 4, 2020 ACT test. All students registered for the April 4 test date will receive an email from ACT in the next few days informing them of the postponement and instructions for next steps.

AP English exam will still take place.  The exams will be online May 13.  AP Students need to keep in contact with Mrs. Brigdon for resources and further exam information.

2020 Fall Concurrent Enrollment Schedule

CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT: MESSAGE FROM SEMINOLE STATE COLLEGE
Below is the process we will follow in moving forward with concurrent enrollment for the fall and summer semesters at Seminole State College. This will be our alternative to the traditional paperwork until we are open once again. I am available to speak on the phone to anyone. My work phone transfers to my cell phone n umber.

2020 Fall Concurrent Enrollment Schedule

I need an email from you the counselor. The email must include:

  • Students first, middle and last name
  • Grade they will be in next year
  • Digital copy of transcript (preferably with any test scores you have) or photo of transcript
  • Classes they are allowed to enroll in. If not preference say “they can enroll in any qualifying class”
  • Dates and times of classes they are allowed to enroll in (Zoom, online or days and times).
  • Student will need to email me
  • Birthdate
  • Expected HS graduation date
  • What term they are enrolling
  • What classes they are enrolling
  • Parents name, phone and email address so I can get a confirmation if needed from the parent

New concurrent students will still need to apply online so we have them in the system
Once a student enrolls, I will contact the school counselor. At this time we are going to still use our standard Concurrent admissions requirements because we do not know how long this will last. If your student does not qualify during this time please reassure them that this could change and/or that we will enroll students up until classes start in August.

I will begin enrolling these students April 6th.  The new schedule will be posted on our website
